The Estate is open to the public and offers opportunities for corporate, wedding and social gatherings. Maintaining a safe environment, and meeting legislative requirements is important to them. With the recent changes in legislation, Beaulieu wanted to make sure that their existing measures and proposed exhibition improvements still met current fire safety legislation and guidance. Additionally, there was a need to address the 'invisible' boundary between the public areas of the house and the private accommodation, each subject to different legislation.
