Fire Risk Assessment

Identifying How To Prevent Fires and Keep People Safe

The requirement for a fire safety risk assessment is imposed by the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005, and guidance on the process of assessing and reporting the fire safety risks is provided in the documents PAS79-1: Premises other than housing, and PAS79-2: Housing, both of which are published as codes of practice.

Our Fire Risk Assessments are closely modelled on the prescriptive guidance from the relevant volume of PAS79, for the premises. The standard of fire precautions is assessed against the relevant government-provided fire safety risk assessment guide.

Our risk assessments are more than just a 'tick-box' exercise.  All observations are clearly described and all recommendations are justified against the national best practice guidance.
