3. FSM Drawings

These drawings document the 'as-built' fire precautions within a premises to aid the responsible person or the person conducting the fire risk assessment in managing and maintaining the existing fire safety measures. The drawings are indicative layouts, not to scale, showing the main construction features of the premises, such as external walls, internal partitions, stairs, doors, and major voids (where identified). They also illustrate fire compartmentation lines, fire alarm details (including locations of fire alarm control equipment, manual call points, automatic fire detection, sounders, and visual alarm beacons), emergency escape light luminaires, fire signage, and portable fire extinguishers.

4. FSM Logbook

This provides the basic guidance on the frequency of testing and servicing of fire safety systems, and standard forms for recording the execution of fire drills, inspections and equipment tests.
