Carrying Out Retrospective Fire Strategies To Inform Decision Making
Managing existing housing stock effectively necessitates a thorough understanding of current fire safety measures. Only with this understanding can appropriate fire safety procedures be devised and coordinated to mitigate fire risks.
We partnered with Portsmouth City Council to develop Retrospective Fire Strategies for various high-rise residential buildings. Our collaboration aimed to comprehensively assess the passive and active fire systems integrated into the existing housing stock. Subsequently, we provided guidance on necessary remedial measures where deficiencies were identified.
By leveraging Retrospective Fire Strategies, we empowered Portsmouth City Council to proactively enhance fire safety measures within their residential properties, ensuring the well-being and security of residents.
